There is no practice tonight, which is sad. I feel bad for my team because not everyone of them is as good as John and I. They need that practice, for them to become a better player. John and I go to practices because it is necessary for my teammates to know about us, and how we play. Without tonight's practice, I doubt our team can win against one of the best teams in the league.

I am watching movie trailers, and planning on watching a couple movies, since my parents does not allow me to play games although today is still count as a weekend. They just does not want me to play and sort of game, sport, or hang out with any friends. All the want me to do is learn, learn, and learn. Learn what? How to be a nerd. I do not know whether I should cry or yell in their face. Either way they will not care about what I think. What's the point?

  1. trade and negotiate..... try to talk to them......

The key is to talk about this at the moment you are not in a trouble with them....

You know, you are the only one who can change the situation. So go and negotiate.

I fully understand your desire (I am, no doubt), and I am on your side. I believe you can finish all your work in time, and should be able to have some time for playing games.

The problem is that if you think this is a problem and complain it with a bad emotion, your parents will think you immature and refuse to compromise you----I believe you fully understand this even though you may not agree with this. So DO NOT blame them for not let you do whatever you want because ... you know they will still say no.

Try different ways! Show your parents what you have done! Try to give them a list of all your academic works you will do in a day and tell them that you need some extra time for socializing.

If you like, we can have a chat about this?
