I now find golems hard to use in Clash of Clans because there are barely any troops that work with them. When I use wizards and healers with them, the healer always tend to heal the golems and not heal my wizards which is what I want them to do. When the wizards are not being healed, they get killed very easily and end up being destroyed. I also tried Valkries and hog riders with them. Those two units move too fast that the golems cannot catch up with them and end up getting destroyed by the inner defenses.  I also tried dragons with them, which is obviously not a good combo. If you guys find any good combos with golems, leave it in the comments and I will try them out.
