I just came back from Cadets, it was not very interesting tonight, instead, it was boring. We did a lot of stuff there. We drew maps, practiced drills and ate candies. We had an officer to teach us how to use the map and the eastings and northings. Those lines formed a huge coordinate graph that covered the whole Earth. In Cadets we had to use those lines to identify our own location, and what coordinate square represented our location. It was a bit complicated, but I understood it. Later on, we had to go outside practiced our drills. Drills were the basic movements for cadets to know when they were on the court. We practiced drills because we need to prepare for the end-of-year parade. I had been to one of those parades last year. It was not easy. I had to stand on the same spot, not allowed to move at all, for about 2 hours. My foot hurts a lot after the parade. It was awful. We did some mark time marches, turns and halts. It was quite simple, but not for the other cadets.
It was okay. This was what we had to do when we were at cadets on a basic training day. You should know how boring cadets is now.
