The Interview
After watching this inspiring movie, I
am shocked and amazed. I am shocked by
the inappropriate word choices and actions; Amazed by the truth about North
Korea in the movie. The movie is funny, but also inappropriate for anyone under
the age of 12. I love the way how the interviewer Dave Skylark, interviewed Kim
Jong Un. The movie is funny in some ways, but also offends some people in
another.
I like the way that the story of the
movie goes. Dave and Aaron plans on going to North Korea to interview Kim Jong
Un since he is a fan of Dave’s TV show. The CIA finds the two interviewers and
wants them to assassinate Kim Jong Un. The interviewers go to North Korea and
meets Kim Jong Un. Dave spends a lot of time with Kim Jong Un, and becomes
friends with him. Aaron still remembers their duty and wants to kill Kim Jong
Un as fast as possible, but Kim Jong Un’s assistance Sook, told them to
interview him and humiliate him. Sook does not like Kim Jong Un, saying that he
was a ruthless, reckless and gullible person. Dave finds that Kim lied to him
about people of North Korea not in hunger and resumes his mission. During the
interview, Dave humiliated Kim by asking him hurtful questions, making Kim cry
and shart (Shit and Fart, poops while farting) in his pants. Kim rages and shot
Dave with a pistol, but Dave survived with his bulletproof vest. They soon
stopped the launch of nuclear missiles and shot Kim’s helicopter down with a
tank, killing everyone aboard. It is a great story, but it will never happen in
real life.
The movie offends Kim Jong Un making
the people of North Korea wanting to stop the movie from being played in the
theatres. The movie also offended people who are fat, by calling them a fat
mother******. It also offends the definition of “God.” In the movie, People of
North Korea think that Kim Jong Un is a god, instead he is an idiot.
My favorite scene of the movie is at the end, where
they shot down the helicopter. It is played in slow motion, showing Kim’s
emotion when he realise that he will be killed. My favorite character is Aaron.
I like him because he knows what he is doing, he remains on duty. He is brave,
but not very intelligent. He is Dave’s backbone. He supports his friends, and
what is right. He is friendly, but shy sometimes. He can be dangerous when he
is mad. He bit off someone’s finger to stop them from pressing the alarm.
Unlike Dave, he is not gullible. He believes what he sees, and what he knows
of. He is not tricked by Kim, and he believes Sook. He stands up for himself
instead of backing away.
It is really hard to believe that Kim Jong Un in the
movie despise Americans, but likes Katy Parry. His favorite song is Firework,
and it is also one of his weaknesses. He believes what his dad says to him,
making himself an idiot.
I suggest kids that are under the age of 12 to stay
away from this movie, because it can teach them bad things. Overall, I think
this movie is one of the best movies I have ever seen.
